I just separated from my husband who is emotionally abusive. He has been diagnosed with PBD (Borderline personality disorder). Its weird because usually men will be so sorry when their wives leave, but my husband is making it so much easier for me to stay away because he is just continuing to try and beat me down emotionally through texts and messages. I dont have to try and remember how bad it was because he keeps acting mean. He has always said if I separate from him its over for good, but then he doesnt follow through. Last summer he left the state for a week because he was so mad that I would not do what he told me to do. He did not want me to take a job that he knew I wanted badly, and because I refused to financially support him while he did not work. He left the state and said he was through with me, but then he called and broke down and came back wanting to try and make it work. He still did not say sorry or beg for my forgiveness. He just continued to demand things from me. I dont know why I took him back then. Was I crazy? Am I ill too?
