I just spent a few minutes watching the House of Representatives in DC as the Republicans again attempt to destroy the Affordable Care Act. What was more fascinating that the Republican continuing intransigence in using every opportunity to stiff the working classes, was the overall behavior of the people there. Wandering around as if they are lost; jabbering to one another as the speaker is trying to bring order for the representatives who want to talk about legislation before them; texting to who knows who - boyfriends - girlfriends - hookers - bookies instead of paying attention to the business of the day. The speaker constantly is rapping the gavel and calling for the House to come to order. Obviously the entire scene looks like little more than a kindergarten for demented and senile old folks - my age and older. What a pathetic bunch of losers. They are not worth the air they breathe and the space they take up. Just watch C-Span for a while. They say they are going to work fewer days next year than they have this year. That would about ZERO as far as I can see. We need to get rid of most of these buffoons; cap the age for being in the house or the Senate at 65, and set term limits so that no one can make a career out of what is supposed to be a citizens legislative body. Absolutely disgusting and a disgrace. And that doesnt even address the flat out lies that a Republican from my home state of Michigan was blabbing right out in front of the gods and everybody who was paying attention - obviously not the members of the House - only about 1/2 were there and those who werent babbling or setting up dates with their hookers, were sound asleep.
