I just spent another morning trying to figure out what the birds are saying.They are raising hell today. The canaries will not sing until the pair of parakeets, three mini parrots and a pair of many colored love birds start hollering. There is a pattern they each repeat. When it quiets down the parakeets and the parrots start mumbling, saying things they are picking up from Rush Limbaugh. Us too. When the male canaries cut loose from the throat instead of their diaphragm, it is hypnotic. I love it, a jungle off the living room. .....The dogs bark every time somebody slams a car door at Caseys. They follow me around, in the house, if I dont go outside with them, they lose it. When I let them back in, my foot is their first step into the house. They will stay outside all day, if I do. The pup has a kennel, the door is always open. She invites the fat calico cat in for a cage match. This ends when the boxer didnt see the left claw coming, like lightening caught the tip of her nose. I spent the day yesterday drawing a life size portrait of somebody I hate. In the afternoon on Sunday I get out my throwing knives and hatchets and kill the portrait.
