I just took a GDI Sales Dynamics Assessment. This test is part of the process for a potential job that I applied for and had a phone interview for. I have never liked these tests and this one really has me shaking my heard. They gave you 4 different sentences in 24 sections and you had to rank 1-4 how they best described you. A lot of the questions though had you ranking politics, personal beliefs and the environment as well as personality traits. I am not sure what bearing those have on being a good sales person and the job is not in any of those areas. Maybe they are making sure that the new sales rep does not spout off his or her own political or religions beliefs to a potential client. Any hiring manager/HR/Recruiters friend of mine out there want to comment on this?
