I just unfriended someone who inboxes and nags me every time I open Facebook - about why arent you talking to me? Me: BECAUSE IM BUSY Him:but youre on facebook right now - I see you. Im usually quite polite and friendly but this is going too far. This person only sent me a friend request in the last week, and now zaps in every time I open fb. There are a few others of you too...to whom Ive explained the following: I rarely like to chat, even with old or real-life friends. But - sometimes - I do. I have chat times and have explained that Im behind on these. There are those of you with common causes, etc with whom Ive chatted recently. I dont mean you. There are those with whom, over time, a bond has been formed. I dont mean you. And...I have Facebook time where Im - hopefully - interacting on comments, or in some cases, discussion groups. These most often involve, again, common causes. Or...ffs...I might actually be trying to READ something constructive... There is also time when Im here to try - often in vain - to catch up with posts or statuses by friends. And sometimes I just like to be silly too. Its for laughter, levity. Or the music group of which Im a member. Or maybe Im doing some admin stuff - though theres not a whole lot to that. So...if youre a new friend...Im not here to chat with you. Sorry...thats how it is. Youll know - if I dont respond within a week, then leave me alone. Oh...except for you honey pie if you see this:) I just am a bit slow. I didnt want to write this...but seriously...its gotten silly now. Being nagged like this - like I owe it to chat with you... All that aside - love and peace I guess...:/
