I just want to say thank you to everyone wishing us well, praying, and thinking about my family today. After a two-year struggle with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, my mother died peacefully in her sleep last night. If there is a better place for better souls, she is there. She spent more than 30 years teaching mentally challenged kids how to live independently and do things the rest of us take for granted, and was the most generous, patient, and loving person Ive ever known. I am blessed to have so many amazing people in my life. To my many coworkers who have put up with my heavy traveling schedule, family and friends who have picked me up from the airport or lent me a car, and everyone else who has helped my sister, brother, dad, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and mother feel better in any way, thank you so much. I love you all.
