Well another year has come and gone.. My daddy is officially a year older. You cannot tell it by his personality or his smile. But those ole knees get the best of him some days... Does he complain? no.......Cancer tried to take him many years ago.. the doctors said he would not recover... did he complain? no........a huge hay bale fell on his head when I was on my senior trip.. did it whip him? no ...he was young and just put that hay, a few days later, right where he wanted it.... My mama has a lot of problems.. Does he complain with endless days of making sure she is ok? no... he just smiles ( and mama does the same for him). We girls have had our own setbacks but he just prayed and didnt say I told you so.. Did he complain.........no..My daddy has had a lot of things happen that should just make him bitter... discouraged... depressed.... BUT when one of us or any of our offspring walk in he just gets a little stronger.....his smile gets a little bigger...his voice gets a little louder and those big old hand wrap you up with all the love he has to give and that is a lot.. He has a birthday today and I want to wish him many more...He is my rock and I am so proud to call him daddy......Love you from the Walker Hill and all of the extra in and out laws and my wonderful,perfect, sweet, adoring babies!!
