I just want to say that in just 2 days, the Miriam Defensor Santiago for President page has gained 400+ likes--this just shows that Miriam has a high chance of becoming victorious this upcoming presidential election. It is already a given fact that our country is reeking of corruption, poverty, and crime. But through social media and our interminable efforts of wanting to elect the right person as president, there is an enormous possibility that we would witness a mighty turnaround in the culture of corruption. I believe that if our crusade to elect Miriam as the next president of this nation becomes triumphant, we will not anymore look at our neighboring countries with wistful eyes--because Miriam will surely lift us from the mire of poverty we are under and make other countries turn their heads toward us with envy. These are no ironclad rules for a get-rich-quick scheme for a third world country like the Philippines by any means, but the outpourings of our souls to see this country rise and break free from the shackles of institutionalized oppression will put us to where we truly belong.
