I just want to share a little something for people that get irritated that I dont share exact locations of homes I find......once again. Sorry for those sick of seeing this, but sometimes people misrepresent me and it bugs me. It really does. For starters I am a stay at home mom with two busy kids at home. Both are honor roll kids. One daughter just qualified for regionals at high school golf. My youngest daughter just came in first at her first Taekwondo sparring tournament. :) They arent getting this good because their mom is off looking for abandoned houses while a nanny takes them to sports. I go exploring for houses whenever I have time, and my time is limited like anyone elses. I have received a handful of tips in the 8 months since I have started this page, the rest were found by me just driving back roads. The other day I received the validation I so appreciated about why I do NOT share locations of houses I find. I heard from family of a house I posted the other day. First thing said to me was.....I so appreciate your integrity and discretion. We have constant troubles with vandals. People dump their trash too. I pray you are always protected. And this is why I do what I do. :) Sometimes people take pride in their family homes, but they are scared to share. My mom owns two homes from the 1800s that she restored; they require constant attention and money. I understand that completely. I understand how these homes fall into the state they are in. It can happen fast. One storm can create water damage and it snowballs. When I visit houses I just like to slip in and slip out just to record the homes were there. I dont want to do fancy photo shoots at these homes. I took a new friend the other day. I think she knows me by now. I literally go in and leave like I was never there. But private messages to me about how I am only looking out for my page by not sharing addresses?? I believe in the 8 months since I started this page I have shown the kind of person I am. And the message I received the other day just validated that I am doing the right thing. So carry on. Found some great places today that I have not posted yet! :) Michelle
