I just want to take this opportunity to thank those that came to Penns Hall to help celebrate such a special weekend. It wasnt a formal event, just something that Emily Jameson and I decided to open up to all that wanted to come (Ive said we were there on private business but due to changed plans it all went out of the window). You certainly did Crossroads 50th proud :) I myself had a ball of a time, before going to the Motel on Saturday morning, went to Birmingham Cathedral to have another look inside, went to look whats left of ATV Centre, looked at the old Register Office and Central Library buildings. On arrival at the Motel, met up with Julie Robb, Kenny McGuinness and of course Emily who greeted me at the entrance on arrival. Fabulous day, we had a table booked in the evening and much later toasted Crossroads 50th with champagne. Sunday morning we four went to Kings Oak then the party really got started when others arrived which was fabulous. New friends made. Thats what Crossroads is all about. Prior to this weekend, Emily was the only other person Id met before, and vice versa with him. Lovely friendly fans, cant get enough of the fun we had. Then the Central TV piece was filmed, absolutely lovely. Then we all went to Crossroads bar where we chatted lots and lots of Crossroads. Emily and I were the last two left, we stayed over until today. Just so pleased that everybody enjoyed themselves. I waved Emily off (not from the balcony but at Reception entrance :) ) and then minutes later it was time to go for me. Such a joy tonight to come on and read all the lovely posts, look at the photos. Thank You everybody :) xx
