I just want to to tell my children how proud I am of them - each - TopicsExpress

I just want to to tell my children how proud I am of them - each and every one of them. No matter the dilemma, crisis, or accomplishment they each rally around one another in full support. They always lend a shoulder and are the first to sing the praises of their siblings. I wasnt blessed with a good family growing up so I was always worried sick that I would unknowingly emulate the behaviors of my parents and the family I created would be a disaster. It was my greatest fear. Im not at all close with my childhood family. Ive literally not spoken to them in years. They opted to continue the cycle - their choice I accept who they are I just dont want to be a part of it. I endured a horrible, horrible childhood. Im proud to say I broke that cycle in my own family. You couldnt wedge a penny between my children, me or their father. At the end of the day and when all is said and done, the place they all want to be is at home. This is truly my lifes greatest accomplishment and Ive accomplished a lot for a little hillbilly Kentucky girl. No one taught me I had to teach myself, learn from others and pray for help, but Im proud of their commitment to our family, each other and all those lucky enough to enter their lives. Not that their alway angels, theyve had their moments, but the result is what matters in any endeavor. My little heard has resulted to be good people. I finally have the family I only imagined as a child. The moral of the story is do it yourself, do it right :-) Its never too late to have a happy childhood.
