I just would like to express something that I have kept for long in my tiny heart. Ive seen so many attacks on Mujahideen. Calling them by names, and giving them labels such as, monster, terrorist, heartless and so on. Let me tell you another side of these monsters that media hides from you. These man, mostly are in their 20-s and unmarried. Most of them are just like us, they were once lived in Jahilliah life, that made them fed-up with this worldly life and wants to make a change. These man, they are not from illiterate backgrounds. Many of them came from a wealthy family and lived like a king/prince back where they came from. These man too has desires and wishes. They too wants to live in the comfortable zone with their loved ones, and to have a normal life like everyone else. But for the sake of Allāh they left everything behind. Family, wealth, youth, desires, likes and they have choose to be the shield of this Ummah, to answer the call and cries of their oppressed brothers and sisters. You see, these man are sleeping in trenches, left their comfortable beds. Eating dry bread and drinking warm tea, perhaps they have forgotten how does their mons cook taste like. You saw the fierce side of them. Have you wonder the other side of them that we hardly bother - the soft side? Have you see or ever witness how they shed tears whenever they make a call to their loved ones telling how much they missed them? Have you ever witness when these man are wounded and injured, all alone and no body is there to take care of them? Have you ever witness when these man secretly kisses their family pictures, or call their names when the pain of longing strikes their heart? Have you ever heard, when they repeatedly said, mom while theyre sleeping? No you dont. And sadly youll never. Because I was once like you, until I become one of them. [Bird of Jannah]
