We have an odd request! Someone has been posting our dogs (and other dogs from different rescues) on Kijiji. While we believe the intention behind this is good and this individual is attempting to help find homes for rescue dogs, they are actually creating extra work for us. When we are in the adoption process with an applicant that appears will be successful, or the dog is adopted but it hasnt been announced yet, we are having to continue to call/email and respond to applications, which consumes resources. We run on very limited volunteer-power and their time would be better spent on other tasks. Additionally, posting rescue dogs on Kijiji is a touchy bit of business. Due to all the issues surrounding pets on Kijiji, each rescue would prefer to decide whether or not to post their rescues animals there individually based on their preferences and beliefs. So, ARTS and ACTS would like to request that this individual NOT post on our behalf. We encourage you to apply to volunteer directly with us (or another rescue) as we have many other jobs that need to be done! Thanks!
