I just wrote a response but the post was taken down. Apologies for swearing ... but I was freaking out and was extremely mad at the time. Wounds have been cleaned by Dr and antibiotics prescribed. Our dog has been to the vet and is on medication and will go back to the vet tomorrow. I appreciate the owner coming forward and will speak to her directly. For the record, the two boys in the photo did try and help us free our puppy ... so please no blame on them at all. Thank you to the lady and man who helped us out ... by helping free our dog and giving us a towel for our wounds. To everyone with dogs ... please keep them on a leash. We walk our dog daily and he is ALWAYS on a lead - but in the last year has been attacked numerous times by dogs who werent. It is the owners responsibility to ensure dogs (especially dangerous dogs) are kept secure. I hate to think what may have happened if my toddler was on the ground near him ... and not just on this occasion. All owners need to start taking responsibility. I shouldnt feel scared taking my dog for a walk in my own neighborhood. Many thanks
