I keep forgetting to share these two little gems, so here they are. For all of my Bunny People: how many *hours* have we spent in the last ten years trying to unclog the hose to the Pootie Sucker? I will claim the origin of that term some 15 years ago on PB, so I will share the solution to the clogged hose that I stumbled onto quite by accident several weeks ago! When I arrived at this new home, one of my bathroom tub drains was clogged so while looking for a solution in the plumbing department of Walmart, I found a simple little plastic tool for about $2.97. I bought it, took it home, and used it and decided that my drain has a mechanical issue. One night as I was cleaning out condos, the Pootie Sucker hose got clogged and as I was trying to figure out how to get it open, I had an ahha moment, went and grabbed the tool and it worked! It is a thin piece of plastic about 2 feet long with barbs down both sides. It is designed to shove easily down into the hose and on the way out, it puts the bulk of the clog with it!
