I keep hearing comments about how weak and clueless Obama is. The people making these comments, many avowed conservatives, have got it all wrong. Obama is doing exactly what he and his communists cronies intended to do all along - weakening America throughout the world while empowering our enemies, especially the dictatorial and communist regimes. Obama has no interest in maintaining or promoting the interests of America, and only desires to tear us down. He has no interest in supporting our constitutional republic form of government. Nonetheless his opponents continue to critique him as if he is failing in a well-intended mission to be our leader, confusing what he is doing with what has traditionally been the role of our President. When will our nation wake up? What kind of 2x4 do we need to have smacked across our collective heads? How many crises do we need to endure before we realize and acknowledge the damage that he is causing to our long-term security and our way of life? This evening I listened to Lt. Col. Ralph Peters, a long-standing and vocal Obama critic, speak about how our Congress has failed to keep our laws up to date with the threat of cyber warfare, as if our executive branch would actually enforce such laws or act in the interest of our nation if such laws were enacted. We watch fecklessly as this same Executive Branch ignores one set after another of standing laws meant to protect us, our freedoms and our interests. We watch as Obama dismembers our military into an ineffective and diminishing force while the bullies of the world dance merrily past our empty threats. We watch as the czars and bureaucrats of the Executive Branch enact rules and diktats that can only be unraveled by long and arduous court battles taking years, far too long after the effects of these actions have already taken their toll. We watch as each week and month brings a new crisis to be layered atop of the long list of preceding crises, none of which are ever resolved, but most of which are soon forgotten by a populace too saturated with the constant onslaught of such events. Ask yourself if you can name just the last 10 crises, which are but only a small fraction of the endless list that has grown since this President took office. What ever happened to Benghazi, Fast and Furious, The Beau Bergdahl incident, the IRS scandal, Lois Lerner and the targeting of the Tea Party, Obamacare, NSA snooping? The list is now much too long to recall. When? I ask: will we ever WAKE UP?
