I keep saying guns are dangerous and yesterday I proved myself - TopicsExpress

I keep saying guns are dangerous and yesterday I proved myself right. My husband had this gun and my grandson asked if I would send a photo of it. I could have told him the make but I obliged. When I noticed the gun was loaded, I asked my grandson how to take the clip out as the handbook was not to helpful. I removed the clip and then he text me and said make sure one is not in the chamber. He directed me and I found the release to pull the gun apart and see if there was a bullet in the chamber. I then went to put the gun back together and he said I must use force so I did. That is when my finger got jammed in the gun. I heard it click so I assumed it was locked in there. I then desperately tried to release it but I could not move the part that releases it. I was in pain but my biggest fear was driving to the emergency room with a gun stuck to my finger and maybe someone thinking I was pointing a gun at them. I finally released it after what seemed like an eternity. The story gets funnier. About two hours later, I get a phone call and the caller id says Gunhouse. I now think my grandson has decided to have someone call me on gun safety. I begin speaking with the woman who identifies herself as a volunteer. I think how nice there is a group of volunteers promoting gun safety. She asks how I view the world today and the problems we are having. I answer. Well a little while into the conversation she tells me to visit their website JW.org I think strange name for website when the name is Gunhouse. Then she asks if I read the bible. I ask, why do they have passages about gun safety in the bible? She laughs. Then bam, no I did not get shot lol. She says it. We dont knock on doors that much any more. The light bulb went on. Jehovah Witness! JW.org I ask you, what are the odds you have an incident with a gun and two hours later you get a call by someone with the name Gunhouse?
