I keep wondering what the craze is all about for more states to be created! Most of the present ones we have are struggling to generate IGR, aside trying to impose heavy tax burdens on their people! Does creating Ijebu State bring about a rapid turn-around in fortunes for the Ijebu people? When we should be calling for the scrapping of some states, some selfish people still want more created, so there will now be a governor,deputy, commissioners,3 senators,about 10 federal reps,numerous state legislators nd advisers etc. What a waste???
