I spent the afternoon making my late grandmother proud. I roamed - TopicsExpress

I spent the afternoon making my late grandmother proud. I roamed the grounds of the Ace of Clubs House, teaching a four year old about the dry mote and playing ring around the rosey on the lawn. The child was the grandson of an RWJR volunteer assessing the house for repairs needing attention. My grandmother was on the museum board and brought me to the house at a young age. I had my 10th or 11th birthday at the house. The ACE has always fascinated me and Im so thankful people in our community are beginning to see its need for a little TLC. Our city is blessed to have such a unique and historical landmark and I cant wait to see it sparkle in its original glory again. If you or someone you know is interested in helping restore and revitalize this gem, please let me know. I will point you in the right direction!
