I kinda always felt like Robin Williams was the punk rock actor, if that makes any sense. He was super honest in every interview I ever saw him in. Almost in a self destructive kinda way. Seemed to me he had no issues with admitting his faults in life. He was a stand up comedian who ended up taking any kind of acting gig and killing it. Moscow on the Hudson always tripped me out, because he learned Russian just to do the movie, and not too many people talk about that movie the way they talk about hook or doubtfire. There was another movie he did that I cant recall, but he played a Spanish conquistador. Anybody remember the name of that movie? Point being, he did a lot of stuff that wasnt the normal expectations for a dude that got famous from playing a hippy alien living in the mountains of Colorado. I mean, what dreams may come really does kill most movies.
