I knew I had to start dinner so I needed something simple...this was a poor choice. While it is easy, it takes a little more involvement than I had hoped for. Looks all gooey and yummy though! 3/4 Cup Butter, Softened 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar 1 1/2 Cups Flour 1 Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk 2 TBSP Butter 1 1/2 Cup Butterscotch Chips 2 Cups Toffee Bits Preheat oven to 350° Line a cookie bar pan with foil and spray with cooking spray. In mixer, cream 3/4 cup butter and sugar. Mix in flour. Press into prepared pan. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden, then cool slightly. In a small saucepan whisk sweetened milk and 2 TBSP butter together until smooth. Pour over crust. Bake another 15 minutes until filling is bubbly. Immediately after removing from oven, sprinkle butterscotch chips on top of filling. Bake again for 3 minutes. Sprinkle with toffee bits, pressing into filling. Allow to cool completely(I let mine sit a good 8 hours and they cut perfectly)before cutting into squares. Enjoy...or come over and eat some of mine!
