I knew the big guy ambling down the store aisle was from the south even before he reached me and my pile of boxes. When he spoke I knew for sure that he lived a fer piece south of Bemidji! "Ess-skewz us!" he said as he squeezed through. "You bet!" I said as I stepped back. He smiled and nodded. I looked around... US??? There was nobody else around! US?? Ess-skews US?? Was he carrying something in his pocket? Was he referring to parts of his anatomy? Yup, I decided that was it. OK, you are excused. You and your boys. Both of them, left and right... Feet! He had to be referring to his size 14 triple-d clod-hoppers! Nice guy. I hope he enjoys getting out with nature up in Canada and catches some nice fish. As for me... I better get back to work, so you will have to excuse us for now!!
