I knew this was coming since so many of my friends were doing it but I had to do a little research before I joined in. So, this week, I’ve learned more about ALS and stem cell research than I ever thought I would. The ice bucket challenge has definitely brought awareness to ALS, but it seems it didn’t start with them, it start with some celebrities just challenging each other and then later added donations to charities of their choice. Now, I want to thank George Estrada for challenging me, but I’m going to borrow/hijack this ice bucket challenge to bring awareness to an even greater disease, one that each one of us have, and that is sin and death, and fortunately we have a cure in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. So, my dogs and I are doing the Ice Bucket Challenge for Christ. Now, I want to challenge my Christian brothers and sister; Marc Aguilar, Christian Axe, Marc Burroughs, Dan Dorado, Arthur Lee, and April Lucke. I challenge you to stand for Christ and bring awareness to the free gift of grace that we have from our Savior and our God, Jesus Christ.
