I knew this weekend would be hard... 4 months ago I thought Id be walking down the aisle in a white dress and committing my life to another person, but God had something else in mind. Thank you to all of the friends and family who have supported me over the last 4 months and have reminded me that He still has a plan, and that my story is not over although that chapter has ended. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:11-13 NIV). Special thanks to friends kind words, love and support over the past 2 days and to Laura Wilcoxson Shibut and Dawn Moore for helping me escape from Richmond this weekend (and my mom, brother and new sister in law for watching Scout so I could!) to name a few...
