Tuesday in South Jersey: A coastal low will organize almost overhead, with steadier rain/showers to our east offshore, and also to our west. With any luck, we will stay in a sort of dry slot in South Jersey for most of the day. While I can’t rule out a few showers, most of the day “may” remain dry. There could also be a little sunshine (though more clouds than sun), the winds will be light, and temperatures mild with highs near 70. As our coastal low strengthens and slowly moves northeast Wednesday into Thursday, rain and wind will increase. Even though New England gets the worst from the storm, South Jersey will still have a cool, wet, and breezy Wednesday with highs only in the upper 50s and a brisk northerly wind.
