I knocked the coffee carafe off the counter this morning and it shattered on the kitchen floor. instantly I thought, NESPRESSO! (we already have the frother) and KEURIG! (the k-pods cost less). while I fantasized about the fancy new brewer we would soon acquire (I dont know why, I never ever make coffee), Jeff got up from his desk and went down the basement stairs, presumably to get a broom or a paper bag - something to help with clean up. he returned with neither, handing me a carafe that looked exactly like the one I had just broken(!!). Me: What the hell is that?!? J: I saved it from the old coffee maker. My thoughts: NESPRESSO!!! KEURIG!!! Oh, the humanity! Serenity now! and, oh well, I never make coffee. true story. (:
