I know Facebook is public and people have a right to freedom of speech and a lot of people sit at their computers and talk all kinds of mess because it makes them feel all big and bad and stuff. But I do have to say this...to all of you ignorant morons who are coming on here talking about the police shooting in New Bern that happened and saying F**K the police and they deserved it and that the police are over paid and blah blah blah...you should be ashamed of yourselves. Those officers have families and I dont know the officers that got shot but I do know that my brother in law Jason Williams is a New Bern Police Sgt. and I think he is a great and fair police officer. Plus I personally know several New Bern Police Officers who are great and fair officers. My nephew Brad Williams is in currently in BLET. So yeah I do take it personally when someone talks so much horrible stuff about police officers. Realize this...every single police officer that wakes up and puts their uniform on and says good-bye to their families before going to work runs the risk of not returning home safely. Why..because they are out there putting themselves in harms way to keep us and our children safe. And no they dont do it for the money and glory I assure you. Yeah yeah...some of you have said I dont call them for help...but I guarantee you that you will when you do need them. I am not blind or in denial...I do know that there are bad police officers out there and that some of them have done horrible things. But guess what...there are people like that everywhere you go. There is no way I will let that distract me from supporting the NBPD and any other police department!
