I know I always wondered where those divorces were happening, because in the church communities Ive been part of, it just wasnt happening. There might be one or two families in a church that split up (sometimes then getting back together and reconciling/remarrying afterwards) but for the most part the members of the congregation might marry later, but they tended to stay married. The kids without fathers or mothers were kids whose mother or father had passed away. I just assumed that 50 percent was taking place in big city congregations.
