I know I posted this one not long ago.That was written by memory,as I thought I had lost the original,but having found this poem,I thought that I would repost it again;as I missed the second verse.This was the very first poem that I wrote.I was a teenager then. Springtime In Gippsland by Robin N Bliss How I love to see the mountains spread with gentle swirling mist Where each golden ray of sunlight brings good thoughts of happiness There the lovely Hooded Orchid,and the Wattle blossoms bloom And the sight of coloured parrots sends away each thought of gloom How I long to go a wandering along the wild bush track Just to go a walking onwards with no thought of turning back Just to breath again the odours of the sweet scent laden breeze It would fill my heart with gladness,and would set my soul at ease Oh,I long to be near Moe where the breezes come and go How I love to see the bushland where the lofty Blue Gums grow Yes to dwell up there in Gippsland,where beneath a sky of blue I see the glowing pastures glow with early morning dew Moe is the town where I grew up in. 17/9/14
