I know I say this all the time, that this may not seem like a big deal to many people.....but raising Abel, there are a lot of those moments. This morning was a BIG one....Abel tried to play with a ball!!! It started when he was in his cart, he saw the ball and walked to it and it rolled away and it got him very excited and he chased the ball for several minutes. Then he dumped himself out of his cart so he could get the ball in him mouth (or at least try). I took several little video clips, none of them great....but I love this one the most because Nana goes over to encourage him (got her fat patootie off the couch!!). He amazes me every single day. He reminds me that its okay to struggle as long as you keep pushing through and dont let it get you down. That you dont have to catch the ball to be a winner and trying hard is just as important. Love you Abel....you make this dark, wet, and cold Saturday morning, super bright and warm just by being you!!!!!!
