I would like to demonstrate one of the reasons Ive switched banks When I signed up for TD they gave me temporary cheques until the ones I ordered arrived. These cheques turned out not to be coded properly to my account and as a result my August rent cheque bounced. When I phoned TD they confirmed the new cheques they sent me were properly coded and immediately made sure to mention that they will be reimbursing me for any bounced cheque fees my landlord charges me. Lets go to the old bank now - Servus Credit Union. For the second month in a row they have taken the loan payment through them out of my Servus account (which I kept open with a bit of money in it in case one of my pre-authorized payments didnt get submitted in time) despite having filled out a pre-authorized payment form at the beginning of July. When I called them today, they said theyd have someone look into it. When I asked when I could expect a resolution to this I was told that I just need to be patient. Yeah, I made the right choice
