I know Ive posted about this before, but hopefully you get the sense about how excited I am about whats going on at Bean Hollow on Main Street in Ellicott City. I was there again this morning and read more of the fascinating exhibit going on. Over the years Gretchen Shuey, the owner features local artists and photographers on the shops walls. Last week she begun what will likely be a one-year effort to share notes, drawings, letters, poems, memorials, and random thoughts customers have been leaving behind on napkins and pieces of paper in the drawer of a table in the back. Many are anonymous, some signed, ALL are fascinating... providing humorous, touching, enlightening, and though-provoking glimpses into the people in our community. This process started in 2008 and Gretchen has amassed 11 VOLUMES of these napkins and pieces of paper. I hope you take the time to stop by Bean Hollow soon, you wont want to miss this.
