But I dont understand how you can label yourself as a non-profit hospital and charge these massively inflated fees whether the patients are insured or not. My daughter went in the E.R. for a migraine. We ended up being there for a little over an hour and was billed more than $3,000 for some ibuprofen, one I/V, a CAT scan, a shoulder shrug and the doctor instructed us to take her home and let her rest.
