I know everyone is always telling me I shouldnt be in a tree with a chainsaw I shouldnt be on the ground cutting down trees! So today I am on the ground picking up twigs pine needles leaves etc. My chainsaw sitting quietly on the ground. Not doing one dangerous thing. And what happens? I turn around take a step trip on a pressure treated 2 x 10! Hit with my face on crushed rock my wrist bent under my body in an unnatural position and my thigh on the chainsaw bar! After a couple hours Im E.R. they fixed up my leg my wrist is broken in the joint and painful doesnt begin to describe it! Im thinking if I would of been up a tree I wouldnt have tripped on that 2 x 10! Might as well put my chainsaw away for the rest of the summer gotta see an orthopedic surgeon next week . This sucks!
