I know everyone is curious so I will fill you in: Yes our gas station is being bought. Yes by Arabs. They are EAST INDIAN! NOT Iraqi, Afghan, Pakistani, etc... They will be running our store very soon, and so you all know! All of us cashiers are excited! In the past couple months weve gotten to know Jay, and he has been so much nicer to us than anyone in Corporate GasMart USA has EVER been to any of us. A lot of people have heard rumors of them being rude to military personnel and we addressed that with him. It was the previous owners of their store in Staunton, which theyve fought for years over there. I know MAJORITY of you will not step foot in our store after the take over, but it will be your loss. Yes, they want to make their money but they also want to help our community. They are willing to give back like GasMart never would/will. When families need donations we can do that now, never again will we have to tell someone that just lost their brother or son that we cant put up a collection jar because corporate wont let us. They want to be a part of our community and we couldnt be anymore excited to say DUECES GASMART!!!!
