I know its already on the list, but when food is this remarkable, you just have to share. We had lunch today at Stirling Bridges. We werent going to order dessert, but we saw them write the specials on the board, and were intrigued when we saw fried apple pie. We asked our server what it was all about, and when she said it was made with pastie dough, we were sold! It was AMAZING! The dough was crispy, the apples were tender, and there was a ton of cinnamon and brown sugar. We were in heaven, as you can see by the photo of Manuel scraping the bowl. If we werent in public, Im sure he would have licked it (and if he didnt, I sure would have!)
