I know its sometimes boring to some people to keep on repeating one self every few hour ,minute or second; but is essential sometimes when you bring in a topic which some muslims find it hard to accept though the rules are very clear even if we do not go into detail research about newly invented matter in the Deen ,any way with birthday celebrations i did a very thorough research even though i know i will receive some attacks,challenge and obstacles on the way when i post birthday celebration which is dear in hearts of some muslims . Apart from the origin of birthday celebration; celebrating our own birthdays or honouring our own birthdays i am yet to see anyone including my self who does it exactly the way Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him used to do on his birthday day( which is weekly); remember he used to fast every single Monday not annually ; so brothers and sisters is never too late to modify our ways to be line with his Sunnah ,if birthday honouring or celebration become part of your life ,why cant you do it the way our prophet peace be upon him used to do just to avoid innovation which many people dont want to hear. Apart from that if you want to honour or celebrate the prophet birthday why cant you still fast every single monday or some Mondays just to thank Allah for his birth. Remember the sahabas loved the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him more than us and they never celebrated his birthday the way we do now or never celebrated their birthdays,its never being reported in any Hadith. Remember too that most of us use Gregorian calender to remind us our birthdays May Allah help us follow the tradition of the prophet peace be upon him no addition and no subtraction. Ameen
