I know its veterans day, I thank our dear veterans for their services! However, today has a different meaning for me. Today the papers were signed to complete the sale of my mom and dads house. Another chapter in my life has closed. Another day that emphasizes the loss of my mom earlier this year. My heart is heavy and sad. I miss my mom. Day after day there seems to be some normalcy and then something sneaks up and reminds me that I have lost the person I have known the longest, the person that made me both physically and emotionally/mentally. I have lost my oldest friend and confidante. I have lost my role model, who taught me the most important things in life, the one who showed me how to be a mommy. Im lonely for her. I love you mom.
