I know many of my FB friends who are strong pro-life supporters are considering not voting for Joni Ernst. Her record in the state senate has been pretty solid. She has said some things that werent brilliant. And shes surrounded herself with people who I consider to be a big a threat to freedom as Democrats. Heck, a couple weeks ago I had little interest in voting for Ernst. But then something changed. Bruce Braley and those who support him attacked Joni for her Personhood Amendment. There arent many folks running (especially in Iowa) who have done anything for Personhood. Joni Ernst never wouldve made it a campaign issue. But Braley did. I have come to the conclusion that because of this, Braley has put Personhood on the ballot. We dont get many chances to vote on issues like this. But in my opinion, thats what Braley has given me. There are other reasons to vote for Ernst (or more appropriately, against Braley), but this is the biggest and best. If Ernst would lose the establishment GOP in Iowa may blame this Personhood Amendment. Would you be surprised if that happened? Honestly... So I have decided that I will vote for Ernst, but it is a vote for Personhood more than anything else. The Left loves defining elections, so lets give Braley this one. If you are pro-life and you support Personhood, please consider voting for Ernst. Bite the bullet and hope that were voting for Ernst and not her handlers!
