I know many of you have been following Amy Harless Tuckers fight against Acute Myeloid Leukemia through our FB page #BigAssHairStrong. Many, may of you know Amy personally. Others through her family and friends. We will be hosting a bone marrow drive through Be The Match around the Roncalli Class of 1989 25th Class Reunion the weekend of July 18th followed by another one at St. Mark and St. Jude Catholic churches. Adding a potential donor to the Be The Match Registry costs $100, ad we are raising funds to ensure that no one is turned away. Since anyone who registers at the drive in honor of Amy will be placed in the national registry, you are not only supporting us in our journey to find a match for Amy, but also making a difference in the lives of other people who are also in need of this life saving treatment. Please note that you should only join the registry if you are a committed donor who understands that you are registering to help any patient in need. While we hope getting more people into the registry will help find a match for Amy, we hope that we can help the thousands of other people who are waiting for their match as well. Be someones HERO.
