I know open carry seems to be a touchy subject. Personally I have never chosen to open carry. However, I did an experiment for myself. I was attending a firearm training, and we had a break to go to lunch. I was being kind of lazy and didnt want to switch to my conceal carry holster, so I thought I would experiment and just open carry for once. I didnt go amongst a ton of people just had lunch with some of my friends at subway that was close by. It was interesting to see the different reactions of people. One mom gave me a nasty look, another man complimented and said it was nice to see more ladies carrying, the worker behind the counter was just staring at my gun with a look of intimidation. My personal preference is still conceal carry. What are some of your experiences? What is your preference?
