I know people want to hear about weight loss and how it was achieved. Back in may, I was given a device called a fitbit. I had never heard of this device before. My sister in law have it to me to try out. The best gift I have had for the last two months now. I was also thankful to land an active job that allows me to walk so much. When I started may 4th I weighed in at 216lbs. The highest weight Ive ever been. I started walking and doing flights of stairs. I started at about 9,000-12,000 steps a day and about 7-15 flights of stairs. i decided to have a late breakfast in the morning and just snack throughout the day. Half a cucumber, cherry tomatoes and strawberries or fruit cups to help keep my sugars up. I was drinking2-4 bottles of flavoured water from shoppers, as I have a hard time just drinking regular water. i started watching my caffeine intake. One cup of coffee In the morning and a ice coffee in the pm. Glad to say I have officially hit the 200 mark today. And although its been slow, I have had to accept that. My highest day on my fit bit was 18,349 steps and 50 flights of stairs Last week. I have always heard that walking is good for you. But I never wanted to do it . i always thought cutting corners would help me. i never realized the positive effect walking would have had on me at this point in my life. this weight loss is unbelievable and Im starting to feel great. No more weight loss diets. Just walk it off!! Be inspired. Start small. You can do it!
