I know some of you have heard about pages losing a lot of fans in the blink of an eye and I just wanted to talk about it for a minute. This has been Facebooks way of handling those big giveaways for a while now and although I think its stupid myself, it was put in place because people were complaining to Facebook about having to like pages they wouldnt want to be a fan of otherwise. This will not just effect those involved in that giveaway, but businesses that werent a part of that giveaway too because Facebook doesnt just remove your like from the the pages you liked for that giveaway, but also from any page you liked within the last 30 days and it also bans you from liking any new pages for a week or so (for the first offense). So, for instance, if someone liked my page 25 days ago and then got in trouble for liking too many pages today I will also lose you as fans. Write down those pages you like and re-like a few each day after your ban is lifted (if you want to follow them). Thats the solution. You cant like pages by the masses, but you can still like them!
