I know sometimes we dont hear about paying it forward coming back around. Not gonna lie, sometimes I question if doing for others (and sometimes getting screwed over) is even worth it. But today, I was blessed with it. Ive been looking for a house to move into in a better neighborhood for my son. A girl I saw in passing who heard I was looking offered to rent her home to me and is charging me $300 less than what another renter would pay. I asked her why so cheap and she said it was because when she was first starting off as a new drill instructor, I was one of the only people that treated her like a human being. For those that dont understand what its like, there are a lot of challenges with being a hat, physically, mentally, and emotionally. But having someone there just to say hi and help out when able to made a difference. I never woulda thought something so small as taking the time to could bless me in such a large way.
