I know that Shreveport Water prices went up starting in Oct. My bill right before this took place was always $9 and some change. I used less around 1 TGal of water usage a month and my daily average was 32 Gallons. Now they claim I use 4 TGal of water usage and 129 Gallons a day. I have checked all of the normal things and nothing is wrong. They replaced my meter and for 1 month it went back to what it always has been. My bill is now $37 and change. I feel helpless and the customer service women at the water department are no help at all. I understand that I am now being charged for my water and that before if I did not go over 2TGal I was not but my problems started before Oct. and I can not get them to understand that. Oh!! and if they come out and reread my meter and it is not wrong on their part I get charged an extra $20. And that is all the help they are willing to give me. I am sorry for rambling I really needed to vent and do not know if I am even making sense. Last month bill was $80, and was paid last week, Yes $80, $20 more than my SWECO bill CRAZY
