I made my final farewell to Russs parents house in Port Wing today. All those years of birding, and lovely times with the kids and their grandparents, and close times with my MIL. When she had a horrible time with bursitis in 2012, I was with her 24-7 for months, only taking time off when I had to work somewhere and Russ could cover for me. The house is sold now--the closing on Tuesday, but Ill be out of town for another funeral in Chicago. Too many sad endings all at once. Im not dealing well with all this.
