I know that at times, I presume things and because of that, I also know that preachers assume things and presume things because of it. Psalms 19:13 Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, and I shall be innocent of great transgression. Amen... Do you have a presumptive spirit? Do you assume that God says a thing when it isnt recorded in the Scriptures? Examine yourselves while reading the Word. Use other Scriptures to support what YOU assume or presume to be correct. MAKE sure that what you BELIEVE is supported by more than one verse from more than one place in the Word. The testimony of Two or Three witnesses holds true with what is commonly believed, what is accepted only on the merit that it has been taught that way for a hundred years.
