I know that one day in our shelter there will be no more adoptable - TopicsExpress

I know that one day in our shelter there will be no more adoptable animals euthenized because we are out of room, out of medical supplies and out of fosters. One day we will have a facility that is appropriate for disease control and the care of masses of homeless animals. One day we will not have to use our personal credit card accounts to save a sick animal and beg for the life of a perfectly healthy one that is out of time like Smokey. One day because of the support of local businesses, citizens and the tireless work of our volunteers this will happen. The words of Beverly Kay. Words cannot express our gratitude to Dean and Lynn Russell, owners of Deans Restaurant, and their phenomenal patrons who raised over $5000 in cash and donations for the Oak Ridge Animal Shelter in October. What a stellar example of a business and community supporting homeless animals who have no voice. We cannot thank you enough for the difference you are making in the lives of each precious one. Every life matters... every one. We hope that you can see the impact every day in the quality of life for our fur babies. Our babies said to pass along their grateful meows and barks for helping them and promoting their efforts toward forever homes. Now we need to get busy and share, share, share and adopt each one. We will not be satisfied until they are all in the arms of love. ♡♡♡ Please support the businesses who give to our babies. The food at Deans is excellent and the staff is wonderful. And I now have wonderful new friends. Please go to Tripadvisor.Com and provide a comment for our great shelter supporters.
