I know there is a lot of skepticism and negative comments regarding Black Friday shopping. Not everyone is out there pushing people over and grabbing the last of something in a vain effort to win the coveted mom of the year award. Every year I make it a point to get up early, call my loved ones, meet over breakfast, spend valuable time together, laugh, joke, think about giving to others, sharing my time and resources, picking out a Toy for Tots gift, donating to Salvation Army on our way into stores, kissing and hugging the ones I love and taking in the joy of giving during this season. So I ask...how much thought and preparation is everyone putting into their Friday after Thanksgiving or are we just planning on spending the day in our PJS? Just because something doesnt coincide with our cookie cutter picture of social correctness doesnt mean there isnt true goodness that comes out of it. Sorry if I offend...Im just sayin.... P.S. We have an open spot at our table for anyone interested in joining the party. It should be yet another epic year of celebration! Have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving and a safe Black Friday;)
