I know this is just awful of me as a pet owner but on Saturdays mornings, after Dusty leaves for work, I like to sleep in which means feeding our two cats late (the dog doesnt care. She stays in bed with me). My mistake comes in forgetting to close the bedroom door after he leaves at 5. About 7 this morning, I felt my head slightly lift off the pillow as the heavier cat jumped from the top of the bedframe to my pillow to wake me. Then comes the meowing. So with my eyes barely open, I pretended I was getting up and then shut what I thought was both cats out of the room. Sneaky little June decides to hide for a bit then as soon as I fell back asleep, started knocking my jewelry off of my dresser and meowing to the top of her lungs. When I stood to trick her, she ran under the bed to hide. Moral of the story: Cats arent stupid and goodbye Saturday morning sleeping in.
